How to Trade Solana Memecoins Profitably: A Step-by-Step Guide

you wanna start printing profits with Solana memecoins? 🚀 These coins can blow up fast, but only if you know how to play the game. In this guide, I’m breaking down my exact system—from tracking elite wallets to spotting red flags and trading like a pro. Step 1:
Make a GMGN account (Team Signup Link) and a Phantom wallet

Step 2:
In the follow section on GMGN copy and paste all of the wallets from our Curated/filtered Elite Wallet List (this is only for elite members)

Step 3:
On the followed traders feed watch for 3 different traders buy into the same coin (This signals a promising coin or even insider knowledge on their part)

Step 4:
Before buying any memecoin, check the following:

• Socials
  • Review their Telegram, website, and X (Twitter). (Did they even try? is there any community or recent posts?)
  • Look at past usernames on X to avoid rug-pull scams. (GMGN will say on desktop only)
  • Verify links for legitimacy. (ensure they arnt linking to another project.
• Holders(over 5% is not good but sometimes its not a person so you may see a very high % sometimes even 80% plus, this will be labeled on gmgn or solscan “Liquidity pool” or “Burn Wallet”)
  • Check for alarming accounts holding enough tokens to crash the coin.
• Watch for one person splitting holdings across multiple wallets (a red flag). This will sometimes come up as a warning on gmgn but there are ways they can hide this and thats just part of the game.
• Developer Activity (DB/DS)
  • If the dev is buying, it’s a good sign.
  • If the dev sells their holdings, it’s likely to crash.
  • marked by DB or DS on the chart
• Top Holder Win Rates
  • Check the success rates of the coin’s largest holders. our wallet list does a lot of this work but its still good to do
• Coin Copies
  • Search the ticker in GMGN. If it’s a recycled pump-and-dump, skip it!!!

Step 5:
Take action quickly when buying or selling and always use GMGN or something similar NOT PHANTOM, phantom is used to move and hold funds not to trade memecoins with, you will get rekt, its slow and by the time you swap you could lose 70% to slippage
